MoAD celebrates and honors select artists with a reception and panel discussion. The community panel will cover a series of topics related to the history, culture and art movements of the African Diaspora in the greater Hunters Point area. All of the panelists are prominent contemporary artists who live and thrive within this community.

They are and continue to be dedicated to service through artistic expression. The panel will be moderated by Tyra Fennell and includes Malik Seneferu, Thomas Tandy, Horace Washington, Ron Moultrie Saunders and Kristine Mays.
