Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, San Francisco Film Society and Museum of the African Diaspora present Issa Rae and Justin Simien

Issa Rae is the phenom behind the hit web series The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, which has garnered 25 million YouTube views (and counting), and author of a new book of the same name. She made Glamour magazine's "35 Under 35" and Forbes's "30 Under 30" lists, won the Shorty Award for Best Web Show, and developed shows with Shonda Rhimes and Larry Wilmore.

Justin Simien wrote and directed the acclaimed feature film Dear White People and won the Special Jury Award for "Breakthrough Talent at Sundance 2014. Both challenge traditional Hollywood stories and roles and share their razor-sharp observations from the frontlines.
