Throughout the year, MoAD offers a series of FREE workshops to teachers and educators. Education Workshops provide an occasion to network with other like-minded professionals in the bay area as well as discuss integration of California’s Common Core Curriculum.

We encourage students to think critically about the historical connections between colonialism, race, and geographic exploitation throughout the African Diaspora. Students will define and apply definitions of environmental justice and environmental racism through the lens of history and current events.
