About

Join us in the MoAD Salon at 6:30pm for a film screening & discussion of two documentaries engaging Diaspora communities around such issues as post-coloniality, mixed race identity, gender violence, national trauma, family legacies and single parenthood. We will screen Tanzanian-Korean-American filmmaker/activist Eliaichi Kimaro’s documentary A LOT LIKE YOU (PBS version) and Nigerian-Nordic-American Faith Adiele’s documentary short A JOURNEY HOME. The screenings will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.
