About

Due to last minute circumstances Bryant Terry will not be able to make it in person for the event tonight; however, we are still having music by DJ Cavem MOETAVATION along with a screening of the TED talk and a wine reception.

Enjoy Free Admission to our exhibitions, The Grace Jones Project and Dandy Lion: (Re)Articulating Black Masculine Identity, as MoAD joins the Contemporary Jewish Museum, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and the California Historical Society for Art, Drink, & Be Merry! Third Thursdays in Yerba Buena.

Join MoAD Chef-in-Residence Bryant Terry at 6:30 pm in the MoAD Salon for a screening of his recently released TEDMED talk about food justice, public health, and his work at the museum. Award-winning environmental activist, emcee, and producer DJ CAVEM MOETAVATION will open the program with a short set before introducing Bryant. The screening will be followed by a wine reception and a signing of Bryant’s book, Afro-Vegan.

Be sure to pick up a sticker at MoAD for special Third Thursday all-night happy hours at participating bars and restaurants. The third Thursday of each month in downtown San Francisco’s Yerba Buena neighborhood will be a monthly outing full of arts, food, and drink! Wander the blocks around Yerba Buena Gardens to soak in art and music.
