| August Wilson Plays Come to Life at MoAD |

In
February MoAD collaborated with San Francisco Performing Arts Library
and Museum (SFPALM) on a lecture/performance as part of a tribute to
August Wilson. Titled August Wilson: Hitting For The Cycle, The African American Journey On Stage,"
the event, moderated by Professor Harry Elam (Stanford University) and
Craig Martin (KQED), brought together some of the finest actors in the
Bay Area under the direction of Margo Hall. The actors performed moving
scenes from 8 of 10 August Wilson plays.
