The MATATU Performance Series continues on Saturday, September 9 with a one of a kind purple experience. The internet went wild over the clip featuring Tuareg (Niger) guitarist Mdou Moctar last year, and his tribute to Prince. We are excited to present Mdou and his band in performance following a screening of Akounak Tedalat Taha Tazoughai, the Tuareg Purple Rain.

A director's talk follows with filmmaker Chris Kirkley, plus the La Pelanga dance party.
