From Ferguson to Geneva - Beyond the Protests: Police Violence in America is a Human Rights Issue

Justin Hansford is the co-author of the "United Nations Shadow Report on the Shooting of Michael Brown and the Ensuing Police Violence Against Protesters in Ferguson, Missouri" and headed the delegation to Geneva, Switzerland where Mike Browns's parents presented their case to the United Nations Committee Against Torture. Over the last several months, Professor Hansford has been tear gassed and arrested as a legal observer and active protester in Ferguson.

MoAD welcomes you as Professor Hansford discusses his experiences in Ferguson, racial profiling, police brutality, the denial of first amendment protections to people of color and his trip to the UN and the search for legal and policy solution to systematic racialized state violence.
