Orlando is out to achieve critical success among his peers in the genre of comics and graphic novels, which he writes to expose injustice in the criminal system. He started out as a tattoo artist but drug abuse and criminal activity landed him in prison with 8 life sentences under the three strikes law, for eight counts of armed robbery. A self-taught 53 year old illustrator comic book creator and political cartoonist, he was born and raised in South Central, Los Angeles. He is currently housed at San Quentin State Prison, where he uses art to improve his position and the world.
