Enjoy Free Admission to our exhibitions, The Grace Jones Project and Dandy Lion: (Re)Articulating Black Masculine Identity, as MoAD joins the Contemporary Jewish Museum, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and the California Historical Society for Art, Drink, & Be Merry! Third Thursdays in Yerba Buena.

Join us at 6:30 pm for a film screening of HI-DE-HO (10 minutes, 1934, Fred Waller) – A musical short starring Cab Calloway, the musician who popularized the zoot suit. This is followed by THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING ELEGANT (74 minutes, 2005, George Amponsah. This is part of the Sweet & Dandy film series presented in conjunction with our current exhibitions. There is an admission fee for the film screening: $10 General | $5 Student/Senior | Free MoAD Members. Admission to the exhibitions is free.

Be sure to pick up a wristband at MoAD for special Third Thursday all-night happy hours at participating bars and restaurants. The third Thursday of each month in downtown San Francisco’s Yerba Buena neighborhood will be a monthly outing full of arts, food, and drink! Wander the blocks around Yerba Buena Gardens to soak in art and music.
