About
The MoAD Vanguard presents Seersucker & Luxe, a day party with a purpose. Join us for Vanguard's biggest fundraiser to support the Museum of the African Diaspora in style and splendor. Sip refreshing cocktails, feast on gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and dance the day away with DJ JustIn inside the beautiful Novela Bar or enjoy outdoor lawn games and libations in the adjacent Annie Street Plaza.
Special guests include members of the Northern California Players Charities and former NFL players Adrian Ross and Brandyn Thompson.
Proceeds from Seersucker & Luxe benefit MoAD’s celebrated exhibitions, public programs, and educational programs, which serve over 40,000 teachers, students, and families each year.
Attire: Picture a melanin-rich Great Gatsby-themed daytime gathering featuring tailored seersucker suits, bow ties, canes, pastel dresses, long pearls, veiled fascinators and delicate parasol umbrellas.
Please note: Guests must be 21 years of age with a valid ID. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
