Chef-in-Residence Bryant Terry presents Choppin’ It Up with MoAD
In this weekly IG live series, MoAD’s Chef-in-Residence Bryant Terry will talk to noted creatives of African descent (farmers, chefs, authors, activists, entrepreneurs, and the like) about how they have been navigating work and life during the stay-at-home order?

Amanda Yee is a Black, Chinese, and Norwegian Californian living in CPH, DK. She is committed to living a life of joy, and surfing when she can. She sometimes writes about the intersection of food and social justice. She is currently working on a personal project titled: “ Prayers: an Immigrants Culinary Odyssey, which explores communication to the unknown; to our deities, to our ancestors, and to our higher selves through the use of food and foodways.
How do we express hope? How do we cure sadness and work through our grief? How do we celebrate in gratitude and thankfulness or gain victory over our oppressors?
More importantly, how do we communicate our stories and desires in a foreign land through food?
