Yerba Buena Center for the Arts
Tucked inside the Yerba Buena Gardens, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) serves up contemporary art offerings, including visual arts, performing arts and film and media exhibitions.

Contemporary Jewish Museum
A short walk from MoAD, the Contemporary Jewish Museum (CJM) is a beautiful space filled with fresh, thought-provoking exhibitions. The CJM is also the home of Wise Sons Cafe, our favorite place to grab a pastrami sandwich.

Children’s Creativity Museum
An interactive art and technology museum for kids, the Children’s Creativity Museum is a place where kids can have fun and learn at the same time. Bonus: There’s a working carousel on the premises!

Our closest museum neighbor, SFMOMA, is the city’s premiere destination for Modern Art.

The Grill
Located in the St. Regis Hotel, the The Grill is a stylish restaurant offering refined Japanese-inspired dishes with an emphasis on fresh fish.

The Grove
Directly across the street from MoAD, The Grove is a relaxed spot where you can people-watch while you eat. Find delicious, casual meals throughout the day — from breakfast burritos in the morning to sandwiches and hearty dishes later on.

Samovar Tea Lounge in Yerba Buena Gardens
Order a pot of tea and soak in city views while you sip. Samovar Tea Lounge is one of the neighborhood gems, and a wonderful place to recharge in between stops.

Beard Papa’s
Get your sugar fix with Beard Papa’s custard-filled cream puffs from Japan. Bet you can’t stop with just one.

Amber India
Situated at the end of Yerba Buena Lane, Amber India serves delicious Indian food, plus a full cocktail menu.

Cole Hardware
A San Francisco original, Cole Hardware is a hardware store like no other. Their window displays are always clever and fun, and you can find just about anything inside — from an umbrella to a MUNI Passport.

The largest Bloomie’s outside of New York is in San Francisco, with four floors of wonderful finds. You can’t miss it.
