The Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) is pleased to announce our two new Poets-in-Residence for Fall 2023. Join us in welcoming: Thea Matthews and Ashia Ajani. The four-month residency runs from September-December, and welcomes two writers to the Museum to immerse themselves in the current exhibitions and pursue their own writing projects in response to the art on view.
Thank you to all of our guests, members, and supporters for helping to make MoAD possible and thank you to Michael Wayne Turner III and the entire Hat Matter: Thoughts of a Black Mad Hatter production crew for creating such a riveting and inspiring event.
