Curatorial Assistant to the Chief of Curatorial Affairs and Public Programs
Position Summary
The Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) seeks a detail-oriented, proactive, and
mission-driven Curatorial Assistant to support the Chief of Curatorial Affairs and Public
Programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized individual with strong
administrative and project management experience who is interested in learning more
about curatorial practice, public programming, and the inner workings of a dynamic,
contemporary art museum.
The ideal candidate will become an indispensable right hand to the Chief, supporting both
day-to-day logistics and long-term planning, while gaining a behind-the-scenes view into
how exhibitions and programs are conceptualized, organized, and realized.

Location: Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD), San Francisco
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience
