Enjoy Free Admission to our exhibitions, En Mas': Carnival and Performance Art of the Caribbean, Otra Mas': 40 Years of Carnaval in San Francisco, and MoAD Emerging Artist Program presents Ebitenyefa Barlaye: Many Rooms as MoAD joins the Contemporary Jewish Museum, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and the California Historical Society for Art, Drink, & Be Merry! Set in a small village in Guadeloupe a little girl and a musician join forces to accomplish their dream — putting their island’s music on the world stage. It is a spirited, joyful , mystical and highly danceable extravaganza of color featuring the music and performances of Kassav’, the leading stars of zouk music. Be sure to pick up a sticker at MoAD for special Third Thursday all-night happy hours at participating bars and restaurants. The third Thursday of each month in downtown San Francisco’s Yerba Buena neighborhood will be a monthly outing full of arts, food, and drink! Wander the blocks around Yerba Buena Gardens to soak in art and music.
