Of Emerging Black Artists
At MoAD, our mission is to place art and artists of the African Diaspora at the center of the global cultural conversation. For two decades, MoAD has uplifted the voices of Black artists — through groundbreaking exhibitions, artist residencies, and programs that educate and inspire thousands each year.
Now, as we honor this 10-year milestone, the EAP continues to reflect MoAD’s commitment to supporting, exhibiting, and amplifying the work of Black artists living and working in the Bay Area. As a leading contemporary art museum focused on the global African Diaspora, MoAD is proud to incubate innovative practices and foster long-term artistic growth.
