About
Join us for an online conversation with Jay Jordan and Tinisch Hollins of Californians for Safety and Justice.
Webinar co-sponsored by the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) and Californians for Safety and Justice.
Through programs, policy advocacy, research, alliance building, and communications, Californians for Safety and Justice works to advance smart justice strategies that increase public safety and reduce justice system costs. Join us as we speak with Jay Jordan and Tinisch Hollins to discuss how their work aims to deepen criminal justice reforms and build a foundation for shared safety.

Jay Jordan is the Executive Director of Californians for Safety and Justice, the largest criminal justice reform organization in the state. He is the husband of the amazing Carmen Perez, President and CEO of Gathering for Justice, and father to a superhero.

Tinisch Hollins is the Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice State Director. She is a crime survivor and a native of San Francisco, CA. She has been deeply engaged in the Bay Area social justice movement as the community organizer, policy advocate and systems navigator for nearly two decades.
She has worked passionately to bring the voices of survivors to the center of community engagement and public policy and has advocated tirelessly for those voices to guide decisions, priorities, and resources.
