BaddDDD Sonia Sanchez is, in her own words, a “woman with razor blades between her teeth.” A portrait of the poet, scholar, social activist, architect of the Black Arts Movement, and persistent voice for equality, this performance-rich film explodes with life. Sanchez and her poetry—sometimes transformed into jazz—light up the screen.
