About
This program is for MoAD Members only. If you would like to become a member, join HERE.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, MoAD Mix: A Spirited Discussion on Art & Culture invites you to join us for a timely and powerful conversation. May’s program, In Shadow: Blackness and Mental Health, centers the art, stories, and advocacy emerging from the ongoing mental health crisis impacting Black communities across the Diaspora.
Together, we’ll explore how artists are making sense of dis-ease, reclaiming joy, and challenging the silence that too often surrounds mental health. Through this dialogue, we’ll consider the cultural weight of wellness, the stigmas that persist, and the healing practices taking root.
Join us for an evening of reflection, connection, and insight as we confront what lies in the shadows—and the light that artists and advocates are bringing to it.
MoAD Mix: A Spirited Discussion on Art & Culture is a refreshing re-imagination of Art As We See It.
Once you register for the program, you will receive an acknowledgement email with the zoom link and drink recipes. If you don't receive this email, please check your junk mail or spam folder.
