From 12-3 pm, join us for a family art activity led by teaching artist Nicole Dixon in the 1st Floor Lobby.
From 12-4pm, receive a Tarot Reading from Rosesharon Oates, a New Orleans born, Oakland based artist, healer, holder. she is best known for her extraordinary fire etchings on wood panels that have been exhibited throughout the bay & beyond. As a spiritual initiate, cultural strategist and health advocate, her work is deeply rooted in her love of community, including both nature & the nonphysical realms, and her passion for art as a form of community care. Back by popular demand from the ENGAGE! convening in May. Readings will take place on the 2nd Floor in the Bates Gallery.
