Issayas Tesfamariam will lead a one-hour tour of Ficre Ghebreyesus: A City with a River Running Through in Tigrinya and Amharic from 1-2pm. The tour will be followed by his lecture, "Ficre: Multi Talented Visionary."

Issayas Tesfamariam studied film at San Jose State University and has a Masters degree from the University of San Francisco in Asia Pacific Studies. He is a lecturer (Tigrinya and Amharic) at the African and Middle Eastern Languages Department at Stanford University. He is also the head of the Microfilming Department, collects materials on the Horn of Africa for the Hoover Institution Archives.
